Sandrine Holt's full name was Sandrine Holt. She was born Sandrine Holt on 19 November 1973, in London. Her parents are Chinese and French parents. Her family moved from China to Toronto Canada when she was five years old which is where she has lived for the last five years. She worked as models on catwalks at Paris prior to becoming an actor. Her debut film was Annuka as Annuka in Black Robe (1991). For this role she received nominations for her role in the Genie Award the Canadian Oscar. Rapa Nui's appearance in Paradise The Legend of Pocahontas and Dance with the Murderer were later followed by guest appearances, in Poltergeist The Uncanny Force & Outer Limits The Unknown Dimension. In John Woo s The Thief she was an integral part of the series over 22 episodes. The film Starship Troopers 2 Hero of the Federation followed in 2004 and is available on DVDVHS as well as Resident Evil Apocalypse. She was given a larger character in 24: Twenty Four, and Runaway. Holt had a few guest appearances on series, and then smaller parts in films. The actress landed a leading part in Hostages (2013) as well as played a supporting character on the Netflix series House of Cards. Holt played Julie Han, in the US remake The Returned (2015) and she was cast in the role of Bethany Exner.
