Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples is an American actress and singer. Her best-recognition was for her performances in Nashville The 2012 drama, in which she played Layla Grant. She also won the award in Sharknado 2013, where she played Claudia Shepard. The actress also was the lead character in the movie Jem and the Holograms, (2015). Aubrey Peeples, the child of Wendy Peeples and Ashley Peeples, grew up in Lake Mary Florida. She has a younger sister Ally. When she was growing up, Aubrey performed with her school's Orlando Repertory Theatre for ten years. She was a graduate of Lake Mary Preparatory School, where she spoke as the valedictory speech of the class of 2012. Harvard University was willing to admit her. But, she declined the offer twice. The second time was because she wanted to be a part of Nashville. Peeples played in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011, Grey's Anatomy (2005) as and Grey's Anatomy (2005). She also had a recurring role in Necessary Rustiness (1991). Peeples was a part of two TV-produced movies: Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009 and The Good Mother). She was a major player on the Nashville series, in which she played Layla Grant. Peeples spoke about her bipolar disorder during an interview with NKD Magazine. Indiewire named Peeples to be one of the top actors younger than 20 in September of 2014.
